Funeral Home

Our Funeral Home - Main Street, Gorebridge

When making funeral arrangements you will be met at reception by one of the team before being taken to the meeting room. This is a private room where we can discuss all your requirements.

Should you wish to visit your loved one, we have our own chapel of rest where you can take as much time as you wish to say your last goodbye.

Some families will wish to hold the funeral service at the crematorium or, perhaps in a local church.

Services can also be held at home or, as an alternative, within our Gorebridge funeral home.

The David Herkes Memorial Room, named in memory of Awdri’s Dad who was a funeral director in Gorebridge for many years, provides another local option.

This light and welcoming space offers a dignified alternative for funerals with around forty friends and family present. Services here can be led by local clergy, civil celebrants, humanist celebrants or less formal gatherings can be hosted by the family themselves.

We have our own mortuary within the funeral home so you can be assured that once your loved is brought into our care, they will remain with us until the day of their funeral service.

Our funeral home is completely accessible for wheelchair users.
